Cluster Feeding and Pausing a Feed

We know that breastfeeding isn't always one continuous session! If your baby is cluster feeding or needs a short break, here is how to best use the Coro app.

Why isn't there a pause button?

Currently, the Coro app doesn't have a specific "pause" button. We are actively working on adding this feature in a future update to make tracking breaks even easier.

How to track breaks now

Depending on how you like to see your data, there are two ways to handle a break:

Option 1: Keep the feed running (Best for a single total)

If you're taking a short break and want the entire session to be logged as one single feed, simply leave the app running.

  • The Result: Coro will record the "no transfer" period as a gap, but your total volume for the entire session will be accurate and grouped together.

Option 2: Stop and Start (Best for accurate timing)

If you prefer to see exactly how long each "active" segment lasted, you can Stop the feed when the baby pulls away and Start a new one when they resume. If it has been more than half an hour since the first feed, you will need to reset Coro. To do that, place it in the Pod and remove it. The Pod doesn't have to be plugged in.

  • The Result: This will create two separate entries in your History, each with its own accurate duration and volume. In a future release we will enable grouping of these feeds.
