Washing and Caring for Your Coro

We know you want to spend more time with your little one and less time cleaning! Keeping Coro clean is simple, safe, and quick.

How to Clean Your Coro (The Shield)

The best way to keep Coro clean is to flush it with water immediately after each feed.

  1. Flush: Use the included syringe to push clean water through the sensor. This prevents milk from drying and hardening inside.
  2. Wash: Wash the outside of Coro in warm, soapy water.
  3. Should I Sterilise?: We actually recommend against standard steam or microwave sterilisation. High heat can damage the sensitive internal sensor. If you prefer to use a sterilising solution, cold-water options like Milton are perfectly safe.
  4. Dry: Let Coro air dry completely before putting it back in the Pod to charge.

Caring for Your Charging Pod

Unlike the Coro sensor, the charging Pod is not waterproof.

  1. Wipe Only: Only use a dry or slightly damp microfibre cloth to wipe the Pod.
  2. Keep Dry: Never submerge the Pod in water or place it in a steriliser. This can damage the electronics.
